MicroSD Issues

I just got a new Blackberry Curve (awesome phone) and I wanted to take advantage of its multimedia functions, so I picked up a 1GB MicroSD card from Newegg.

The card arrived and I immediately placed music and video files on it before formatting, they all loaded properly (I think) and I put the card into the phone. The phone said there was an error and the card should be formatted, I checked and the phone recognized the music files with titles, artists, albums and everything but they could not be played.

NOW, whenever I put the card into the SD adapter and into my SD reader; I enter My Computer and then go to Removable Storage (G) and explorer.exe freezes. And I have to close explorer.exe and restart it. This happens constantly. I did get to the point where I could quick format it, but thats about it.

I am seriously getting upset, any help is appreciated.

I can format my microsd from my phone try going to settings and look for option about memory and select card or something along those lines look for an option to format in there

I have an lg vx8300

Also as a further tip you should always put the card in the phone first because the phone will create all the folders and everything it needs then put your music pictures in videos in the right folder when you load it on your computer

I will give that a try. I would try putting the card into the phone after it has been formatted on my computer, but I have no way of formatting the card. Every time I put it into my computer, it freezes.

Can you use a program like ActiveSync?

I connect my T Mobile Dash via USB and it opens ActiveSync. But I also put my 2gb MicroSD card in its adapter and sometimes go through there.

I can't use ActiveSync, I can only use the software provided to me by Blackberry.
