Didn't know where to put this, whether to go into servers or os's, so can any mods move this to the appropriate place if necessary?

This is an orphan bitmap saved in the C:\Windows\System 32\logon.scr file in the XP Home Edition. Would someone explain to me please what the hell whistler is?

Whilster was basically the name of the beta for XP, like Longhorn was the beta for Vista and Blackcomb the beta for 7. That's how to put it in simple terms.

It's like Windows 2000 but it was like what came in between 2000 and XP but was never released as it was a beta OS, you get me?
