i have a file in a ".log" format, which is the same as a ".txt" format i think. there is 3 different numbers in the same row. how do i copy each of the 3 numbers to their own separate column on excel? copy and paste each of the 3 numbers individually is NOT an option because there are almost 4000 rows

on an empty row, click Data ->Import External Data and browse to your file

yeah i got it now thanks! i was using the new 2007 excel so there was a few more steps to do, but i basically got it
