Hi guys,
whats the difference between an Access Rule and a Server Publishing Rule, ie
on a server publishing i do -
enter my server ip i am publsihing
enter the selected protocal to use ie "RDP"
select one of the external ip address's to use
and then in the "From" tab after i have created the rule i enter my home pc ip that i want to RDP to the server i have published
but on an Access Rule it looks the same -
first i allow the rule
i select which protocal to use ie "RDP"
i then add my server ip to the sources list
and in the destinations list i put to "anywhere"
following user sets i select "All Users"
and then finish, so whats the difference between the 2 rules as they look the same, can anyone help?
