Microsoft Office 2007

Ok. well my girlfriend has a disc from where she worked at a university that has it, but when she inserts the disc to install it only shows Microsoft office communicator 2007 and not the actual office 2007.

I have the software installed on my windows 7 64 bit with no issues. Are you sure the CD says Microsoft office on it? Or does it just list that particular program on the cd?

On the disc it says: Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2007
(Microsoft Office Communicator 2007)

And on the sleeve for the disc it has the product key. But when we insert the disc to install it the only thing that pops up is the communicator part

so for some reason The computer is not reading the disc properly from what im thinking. Cause she says she has installed office 2007 onto other computers from that disc. Do you think the file for it could be corrupted?

It could be. Also when the install program starts does it say upgrade or custom install? Perhaps office 2007 is already installed and it only installs the communicator program?

You need the actual Office 2007 disc. Office 2007 Communicator is a separate program.

This seems like it's one disk out of several that came with MS Office. This particular disk is just for Communicator and there is probably another disk or disks needed to install the rest of Office. This makes sense since Communicator is an Office add-on and not part of Office.
