Microsoft Office Question

hey
i have microsoft office (student and teacher edition 2003)
it allows me to load this software on 3 computers.
iv loaded it on my laptop. but then i had to format my laptop due to problems and load it on there again.
i then loaded it on my parents computer, so thats 3 computers iv loaded it on.
my questions is that does the software or my computer remember that iv loaded the software on the same computer twice?
is it really a 'load on 3 computers' software or 'load 3 times' software?

I do that too. Trust me i had the same worry when i got it beacause i reformat it all the time. I will say yes it is illegal to have it on more then 3 computers but it is ok to have it reinstalled 100 times on each of the 3 computers. They do not keep track. (that said do not go installing it on more then 3 computers)

the license allow for 3 seperate computers to run the program at the same time. Its doesnt matter if you have to reinstall the software 10,000 times on any of the machines so long as you only have it on 3 machines at any one time.

superfantastic
cheers guys
im a retard. i thought there was something on the CD that stopped you from installing more than 3 times.
some kind of maaaaaaaaagic CD.
But thanks :)

I have Office 2003 Pro and one of my networking buds told me I could install it on any amount of PC's in my household, as long as I am not selling it or distributing it. Is this correct?
