Microsoft office

Hi,

My computer is 6 years old (a bit of a museum piece) and is soon to be replaced by a new laptop.

On my existing computer I have Microsoft Office 2007; is there any way to transfer it to my new laptop or do I need to buy it.

My wife bought the initial office which she could donate to two other computers, in this case mine and my son.

Any help gratefully accepted

There is no way to transfer it as when you actually install Office, it puts entries into the registry required for the program to run properly. As far as your wife's version of office goes... As long as it has 3 licenses to use it then you are good to go. If not, then you need to buy your own copy.
