Microsoft pharos gps-500 maps

Hey guys!

I have a Microsoft pharos gps-500, which does work with microsoft street and trips, but only in the U.S. What I would like your help to find: A map, (hopfully free) which work with my gps and can show me, where I am all around the world, because I'm taking a 4-month trip around the world. I have tried google earth, but I have to buy google earth pro, if I want it to work, but hopefully I can save 400 dollar.

I don't know of any map service that will work with a GPS unit that is free to use. Sorry, looks like you're going to have to fork over at least some cash, although you may be able to find something for less than $400 somewhere...
