Microsoft sidewinder keyboard

$40 is my budget.I want baclit, and macro keys, but i dont want 20, i coulnt remember them all, somthing like 10.I have the microsoft sidewinder x6 in mind, i saw a few people on this forum with them.Im looking for gaming kryboards, and i want a company that makes a good matching mouse, like the microsoft sidewinder x6 and x5.

Never liked the sidewinder mice, but the keyboards are awesome.

The X6 is awesome. Very accessable macro software. Auto run feature, backlit, 90 individually programmable buttons for macros. (3 banks of 30 with the keypad having the ability to be used as macros) Keypad can also be put on the left side.

I bought mine second hand and it has been solid. Nice keys although a little easy to push leads me to occasionally double press keys. Its fast to type on though so if your not heavy handed like myself happy days :D

macros can be recorded on the fly too.

Theres just an abundance of feautures :P

The wrist rest is also comfortable.

Sidewinder x4 is what im looking at, my budget just decrased, but i hear that the x4 has better anti ghosting, and no removable keypad and no volume knob, im fine without that.I just noticed no usb hub on the x4!Darn it, really want one of those.I am a peck typer, a fast one, but still.I will try learning how to type sooner or later. This may sound funny, but anyone used a model m for gaming?I am looking at a microsoft reclusa.

I have the x4. Solid keyboard. I use it for FPS and RTS games. Good feel without being too loud (if that is a problem)

The reclusa is supposed to be pretty good albeit with razers usual problems.

I beleive theres also a razor/m$ mouse, the habu i think

Iv never owned a razor product myself so cant vouch for the accuracy. But everywhere iv read they rarely last a year. Thats every product iv read about too.

Usually its shoddy construction or bad parts.

Id definately research the keyboard before you buy as like i said theyre are a lot of problems particularly with certain razer products (again i dont know this from experiance only what iv read but its put me off from buying razor.)

Im ordering a alienware tactx combo in an hour. Includes mouse and keyboard. Both are rebranded logitech g11 (keyboard) and logitech g9 (mouse) with some new features. Both for only $75!
