Microsoft updates

I'm running win7 on a new custom build desktop (3 weeks old). I have Microsoft office 2002 (which is plenty adequate for me) installed. I have received and installed updates for this program.

I have updates for Office 2007 coming in but I have not installed any. Do I need to allow the updates for office 2007 to install since that program is not on my computer?

Since you most likely installed the 2007 converter pack, they're updates for that. It's up to you if you want to install them or not.
 
Ok. Since I don't have anything for Office 7 installed, I probably wont install the updates for that program. I only wanted them if they were needed for Office 2002.
