Hi, is there any way I can increase the size of a virtual hard drive after I have installed Windows on it - I don't want to add another drive, I'd just like to increase the original. Thanks a bunch.

How do you install windows onto a Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 anyway?

And for your question,

Right click
Options and i think there was a setting in there.

Sorry about stupid Reply.

Open Virtual PC Console

Click the Virtual Hard Drive

Settings,

I believe you cannot Edit hard drive size,

BUT you can create a new one

Did you not make it big enough to format onto,

Do you think it would be easier for you to just Delete the partition, Start over with new found knowledge and create a bigger Vhd?

Hehe, very simple (I love VPC :)) To install windows you just create a new Virtual PC from the main menu follow the wizard to make one and once that has finished boot it up, it will load in DOS mode, just insert a virtual Image of a Windows Disk or insert and actual Windows Disc and use it to boot the Virtual PC up and install windows like you normally would.

Ill make a better explanation when i get home :) (With Screenies xP)
