Microsoft Word Discrepancies

Okay, so I have a couple of documents that have tables in Word 2010. I put it on a flash drive and open it up on another computer, using Word 2010, and the table takes up 2 pages instead of the one it was on. The margins of the cells are bigger and I can't seem to change them. It seems that the page margins are the same. It's irritating.

Does anyone know how I can transfer my one page table to another computer and still have one page, in it's original format? Why are these computers (yes, more than one) doing this to me?

Thanks for your help.

My guess is that you enabled a setting in your word 2010 thats not enabled in the other computer's program. Have no idea what setting that would be though, I don't work with tables.

This is a known issue with Word (googling "word document looks different on another computer" returns a ton of hits), and has been so throughout the ages. The usual cause seems to be different printer settings on the computers. Unfortunately, if you need to move word documents around, you're probably dead in the water. If you don't need it to be editable on all computers, though, you should export the document as a PDF instead as that will preserve layout.
