Microsoft Word

Hi all,

I'm a bit of a noobie to these forums, but I'm hoping that someone somewhere might be able to help me out...

I'm running XP SP2 and have installed Microsoft Office 2003. My problem is that somehow, Microsoft Word has attached itself to my PC's StartUp commands and loads up EVERYTIME that I boot my system. Now, I have had a look in the StartUp folder on my Start Menu and it's counterpart in the Documents and Settings directory using Explorer and I can't find anything... Is there an option to include the program in the StartUp options within Word itself? Or is there going to be an easy way to stop this (short of uninstalling the program)

Thanks all.

Click start > run and type msconfig. Now click the startup up tab. Now uncheck the MS Word one, and click apply then okay. This should fix your problem
