Hi all,
probably has everyone read about micro stutters in CF setups...
I got the same problem here with my 2 hd6870.
This isn't in all the games, just in some. My benchmarks are scoring great: like 7860 points in 3dmark 11.

Someone knows a fix for this problem? It's sometimes really irritating xD.
Is amd working on this for the next driver? Or should I be spending money on a new card?

Well the first thing I'd suggest is to maybe look into reinstalling your drivers and then possibly reseating your graphics cards perhaps.

You don't need to bump a thread an hour after you posted it by the way. Wait half a day or a day at least mate.

It was a day 12h --> 12h... (it's hurry)
I've already reinstalled the drivers and reseated them, don't work...
But if you just type CF microstuttering in google, you'll find a mass threads about everyone with the same problem and explains why it stutters.
I know what the problem from cf cards is, but if someone got a solution, plz post here...
 
There's obviously something in your Catalyst Control Centre or your BIOS that isn't set up quite right.

Do you have any monitoring software on your system? If so, just take a read of this http://www.overclock.net/t/985613/6950-cf-stuttering may be worth removing any.

yeah tried that before, when I do custom fan speeds I get less stutter... But I still got stuttering.
Are there any cf users? I read that it's a major problem at nvidea sli and amd cf...

One thing to test, how good is the airflow in your case? Tried downloading GPU-Z and seeing what temps your graphics cards are running at? I have a feeling you may have an issue with heat. You could always try removing the side panel and then playing games without the panel and seeing if that makes a difference.

If you're using a bad case with poor airflow and you've cables snaking all over the place inside it, that's your problem I think.

It has nothing to do with temps. I have a scorpio 1000 and a 250x200 side panel fan and 2 xfx dual fan gpus...
in the CCC I can see that first card idle is 40-41 C and 60-67 load. And second card 36 idle and 58-63C load. When I'm gaming the 2 cards got around 70% load their performance. Did you actually read the links or search info about microstutter?
It works like this: this kind stutter doesn't make frame drops... In 1 second can be much done while gaming. You got ticks for gpu screens wich all got a time in ms.
So if you have crossfire, the time in ms for each tick can vary. Let's say that every frame got 10 ticks... Then is a single card doing like this: 1--2--3--4--5--6--7--8--9--10. And in crossfire it can vary (shorter or longer): 12---3-4--56--7---8-9-10 >and that causes microstutter. But the thing I'm asking is "is there a solution to get this ticks stable like a single card? Or do I have to buy other (strong) single card?"
