Like the title warns, this might be really really dumb but Im curious...

Is there any software available that would turn a normal LCD monitor into a touch monitor? The reason I ask is that stores around here that have touch screens on their photo kiosks have really el-cheapo looking monitors that have touch screens. Is this completely impossible or feasable? If not, is it hard to incorporate a touch monitor into a Vista system?

Software no. You have to buy a touchscreen monitor, and it will come with the software that makes it work.
