Okay, so I might be getting a Q9550 pretty soon. I want to know if my Zalman CNPS7000Al-CU will be up to the challenge. I won't plan on overclocking the quad, unless i can find a cheap, reliable cooler.
The cooler was made for Core 2 Duo's, It runs my E4500 @ 2.97ghz with 1.4v nice and cool, and just below the 55*c area when under load (prime95)
Also, my board only officially supports 65nm quad cores. but ScOut flashed it to the latest bios and successfully ran a Q9300 in it.
