I'm not a computer geek/expert, as I suspect most of the posters here are. I'm just looking for some help from people who might have some answers. We've been online 10 years and have had 3-4 computers in that time and the same thing happens every time- after 2-3 years it gets agonizingly slow and starts freezing up and we have to restart alot. I've asked friends--Is this what computers do when they get bogged down? They say it hasn't happened to them and one thought it might mean we have a virus. In spite of our virus protection. If so, what do we do? Call the Geek Squad? Do System Restore? And how do you know for sure you have a virus? Thanks!
