Minecraft Servers

So I've been playing Minecraft a lot lately, and I wanted to know what servers you guys play on, and your thoughts about it, what it's about, etc.

I normally play on www.mcmines.com 's server, problem is it's not online all that often.

I'm a builder, I don't like spending days mining for resources and prefer to get right to it with WorldEdit and the /gimme command :D Don't hate on me if you're one of those hard core vanilla survivalists.
 
i just play single player, every time i have played online even when we had a server here, my stuff got nicked
 
Play on my clan server mostly. It is somewhat of a hybrid between give yourself resources, and find your own resources. Hard to get stuff, or time intensive, easy to get stuff, like diamond tools and obsidian, are there for most people.

you want land clearing, or your want some cobble, dirt, wood, stone, logs, whatever, go get it yourself. An hour, if that, of mining with your diamond pick/shovel, and you have enough to build nearly an entire damn city

If you want to switch and give ours a go, throw me a pm and I will send you the server details + rules and whitelist app.

Regarding the last two, it is pretty much don't grief, respect everyone and don't build on reserved land, and we ask that everyone say they have read and understand the rules on the whitelist app, so if they do break any of them, you can't claim ignorance.

Also, not everyone has the /give command to stop it being taken advantage of. Donators and clan members get it and more as perks, guests get basic commands like /home, /warp, /time etc and mods and admins will still give you stuff if you ask nicely, but if they aren't online, you are digging yourself a hole for them materials.
