Mini PCI Card for HP/Compact NX6110 Laptop

My Intel 82200BG card crashed. Any reommendation for new internal PCI wireless card. I am using Linksys wireless G router in home use. Anyone know anything about Atheros PCI wireless cards? Friend made the suggestion, but could only find on Ebay. Most sellers say not recommended for IBM or HP, but do not say why.
 
the last Experince with a linksys wireless card was terrible i bought a belkin and had no problem so id reccomend that but its down to preference
