WHERE THE HELL did the other 88 gigs of hdd space go?

that and after repartitioning my hdd i noticed that another partition was created called PQSERVICE and it is a 9 gig partition and is only using 6 gigs of it anyone know what that is? im affraid to touch it becuase i do not know what is in it i cant access it or rather i do not know how to

any input would help thanks :)

There are hidden&system files&folders galore - you need to enable viewing hidden files in Folder Options. I think there also was an option to hide system files checked by default, you need to disable that as well if you want to view the files - I would leave them alone, though. The files are hidden for a reason.

that is showing all system files and pointless updates history and everything it is straight from my hdd all i can come up with is i need to defrag but i dont know of any good ones the one on vista sucks dick

and free good ones that i can WATCH the progress to make sure it is working?

Some free ones include defraggler (www.defraggler.com), umm... yea, that's all I could come up with.

However, I would go in Disk Management and see if you've even partitioned all available space on the disc. If you notice something weird, post a screenshot.

If you have unallocated space on the disc, the easiest way to deal with it would be to simply create a new partition on the unallocated space. However, if you want your existing partition to fill up all the space instead, you'll need to get a tool like GParted (should have this function, but not 100% sure) or Partition Magic to resize the partition for you.

HHAHHA first run i had 67.9 gigs freed up from it i figured thats what it was thank you
just gotta find out what the otehr 10 gigs aredoing
