My friend have a laptop NEC pentium3 and we're trying it to partition and format it using FDISK utility but after we reboot it then the partition are all gone. Did we miss something or the hardrive are now defective isn't it? Please Help us!
Did you remember to format the drive with Format.com and the "format C: /s" command? Without formatting a newly created partition and transferring the basic dos system files to the drive it won't be seen.
