Missing Pictures

There are several people sending me email, the text comes through but not the pictures. I click on the notice at the top to allow the attachments to show, any suggestions?

Which mail service do you use?
like gmail/yahoo etc etc
 
The problem is not with my carrier, It's two of people sending me mail. All others come in OK. I belive both have Windows 7, one uses Cox.com the other: utna.com, Other then that, I cannot figure what is wrong. This is not just me, the two mentioned is complaning that others are not receiving there pictures.
 
Those two people should probably contact their email providers, as that's likely the source of the problem. The solution would be to switch to a more reliable webmail client such as Gmail.
 
Pictures could be inline or as attachments. Have you looked in your default attachment save folder? Have you scrolled to the bottom of the email? Does the size of the email look like it has pictures attached? If the email is much over 50k then the pics are there somewhere.
 
The pictures space is attached with an "x", clicking on the "x' has no effect. I have checked in the "Junk Mail" folder & scanned the entire mail, no pictures. I have advised the two parties to contact there respective carrriers, I will drop it there.
