missing recycle bin

Hi I'm using Vista and I accidentally pressed delete on my recycle bin. It's gone, so where is it and how do I get it back? Such a trivial thing but I've never had to search for it before!

Is easy just go to your desktop and right click on it to bring the properties, then go into the desktop tab and click on "customize desktop" and select the stuff you want on your desktop
