Okay so there's this guy im friends with, who owns this new internet based cell phone system that he is going to be introducing soon. He needs a bunch of laptops and doesnt want to buy from some company, and asked if I could build them for him. I told him I have never tried or looked into building an actual laptop, and so he gave me 900$ to try to build one so I can start making them for him. No im just kidding about all that, but i want to try building a laptop. Can you buy like laptop frames with the Screen? If so, where can you buy them. Or is it just too much of a hassle to build one.

You can build such whiteboxes but its more of a hassle than its worth (in most cases) .. you could just try hacking a older laptop apart and using a microATX desktop...
