Hi folks,
I currently have 4x8gb 2133MHz Kingston HyperX Predator sticks running great in my mobo at the minute. I am planning on adding four more 8gb 2133MHz sticks down the road to max out my RAM at 64gb.
I can't get another four sticks of Kingston HyperX because they are too tall to insert on the right side of my Noctua CPU cooler. So I'll need low-profile RAM in order to max out my system to 64gb.
Would there be a significant performance difference if I use another manufacturer's RAM to fill out the other slots, operating at the same frequency? I don't think Kingston make low profile DDR4 RAM at the moment so I was looking into Crucial or Corsair.
I can still return the Kingston RAM if it will save me the headache and performance costs down the road, but I would rather not as I'll be out of my main editing workstation for a period of time.
Thanks,
Zach
