what is the difference between the
Mobile Pentium® 4 processor with Enhanced SpeedStep Technology
and
Pentium 4
and
Pentium M
?
for laptops
In Speed.
which one uses more power?
which one is better?

is that the samething?

if they are not the same thing.
which one is faster. lets say
2.2GHz Mobile Pentium® 4 processor with Enhanced SpeedStep Technology
and
2.2 GHz Pentium M
and
2.2 GHz Pentium 4
which precessor will have better performance? (Laptop)

Thanks Every one

P4-M -- 400MHZ FSB, 2nd generation SpeedStep
P4 - FSB depends on processor revision, no SpeedStep
P-M - 400MHz FSB, 3rd Generation Speedstep

which one uses more power?
Depends but most likely the P4

which one is better?
sigh...define better :)

No.

2.2GHz Mobile Pentium® 4 processor with Enhanced SpeedStep Technology

2.2 GHz Pentium M
and
2.2 GHz Pentium 4
Well 2.2Ghz P-Ms dont exist and depending on the P4-2.2 then i'd say the P4-2.2

You just asked what was faster ... what is this "performance" you speak of?

2.2GHz Mobile Pentium® 4 processor with Enhanced SpeedStep Technology
= (Performance)
how many GHz in P4 or P M?

As I know, the Pentium-M CPU bits in performance any existing CPU with the same CPU clock and even Banias 1.6Ghz (P-M 2003, 1M Cash L2) bits in performance Northwood P-4 2.8Ghz.

P-M is the same as Pentium-M which is analogous with Centrino :) I wouldnt go so far as to say the PentiumM outdoes a P4C-2.8

Comparable indeed however certainly not an all-around out-doer. The AthlonXP is a comparable chip next to the P4C ... not certainly not an outperformer :)
