ok so whenever I boot my PC, it says "overclock failed!" so when I go into the bios I reset everything and it boots fine. but when I turn it off and back on, it does it again. How do I fix it?
no I bought it from a friend cause he had the problem too and he said that the person he bought it from might have overclocked it but I or my friend haven't touched the overclocking.
reset the cmos as J|Collins005 said could do the trick, this gets rid of any previous overclocks that could still be applied, you might not even need to take the battery out, look and see if there is a CMOS clear/reset button on the motherboard itself.
