Mobo correct?

I have a Asus P5P800 which is 2 years old, i want to use a X800GTO 256mb agp in the slot but so far i have graphic issues. I have used my mates 9600PRO and its fine , is this a Mobo issue as all the drivers are correct??
 
Tried the pwer, no good with 550W.

Im looking at my box and it says that x8 runs at 0.8v & x4 runs at 1.5V. My mobo runs at 1.5V i think so could this be the problem.

If so what can i do as i cant find anything in the bios to change it to 0.8V.

Do newer mobo's run at 0.8V???
 
Maybe i need a newer board running at 0.8V instead of 1.5V
Is there a way to change down to 0.8V from 1.5V??

Well your motherboard supports both 0.8 and 1.5.. you dont change the voltage, thats done automatically depending on the card you're using

Again, what are the specs on the PSU? (i., there's a sticker on the side of the PSU, what are the values on it)
 
On the side it says

Also this started happening with my old 9800PRO until the fan stopped and has continued with the X800 GTO

Not come out very well as i did it in a table:mad:

The Voltage 230V is Orange Red & White and the first 3 numbers below. The current is yellow blue & purple, and the Frequency is Black, Grey & green

120Gb Hard Drive
X800 GTO agp
Akasa Evo 120
Akasa Exhaust Fan

Bear in mind though that when this problem first happened i had

P4 3Ghz
1024mb
80GB Hard Drive
Radeon 9800PRO

And it had worked for 12 months no problem:eek:

I have tried a 500W power supply with the same results

Its driving me madddddddddddd!!!!!!!!!:mad: :mad: :mad:

Well, it does a little, your not going to run dual 7800GTXs and a P4 EE on a 300W PSU, no matter what the 12v amps. But in this case, yep, it means nothing.

Find me a 300W PSU with dual 20A 12v lines and I'll take it back. As I said in PSU101, if you've found a PSU with good 12v rails then odds are you'll be fine. Now if you can find me such a PSU, add the restriction of 3% voltage tolerance. If you can match all that, I can find a better one for less. So done and done :)
