Mobo grounding screws

Would forgetting one of the grounding screws on the mobo somehow cause the chipset (or other parts) to run hot?
 
it shouldn't. nF4s are know to run on the warmer side, but how hot is it running (keep in mind most of those thermisters aren't real accurate).
 
You may have bad airflow in the case...i noticed my mobo ran at 35 degrees( i know not the extreme u are at) but when i got proper airflow and little cooler outside my mobo came down to around 22 degrees.
 
Yea you are definately running hot. Correct airflow is critical to keeping you hardware cool and working. Make sure your front case fan(s) are sucking air into the case while your back are pulling air out. Also, if you have wires and such all over the place, try and organize them.

With a case like that you shouldn't be having any airflow issues. Is the heat issue with the system temp or the CPU temp? If it's with the CPU you might want to take the heatsink off, clean off the thermal paste and stick some artic silver 5 on there. That stuff is great.

Make sure you NB fan is operating as well.
 
My CPU temp. is fine. Its just the chipset and video cards run hot. The chipset fan runs fine.
 
put a exhaust fan in the bottom front of the case.
that pulls the hot air from the heatsink right out of the case.
i have a FXF 6800GT, and its running at 54*C just after playing CoD2 demo ( at 30FPS, so under full load) and the xfx are tend to be the hottest 6800GT's
