Mobo keeps making a beep noise

Hi,
I just bought a lightscribe dvd burner and I installed it properly and every but now when I turn on my computer my mother board makes beep noise for about 5 secs and then shuts off. Has anyone come across that scenario before and how can i fix it.
I also attached the links to my mobo and the dvd burner as well, please let me know how can i fix this.

It is a beep code... what is the sequence. the computer is telling you what is wrong.

so i got a new power suply and i plugged it in. Now I go pass the pentium logo and the mobo info screen im upto that point, the i see the following error: CMOS check sum error: Default loaded.
after that error it shutsdown again. what should i do with the CMOS

What happens when you remove the drive? Does it work again?

I tried removing the drive as well and still it doesnt work. Im not too sure howto flash the Bios but I was told that I should try that. Can anyone give me any pointers on how to do that.
