Mobo Not giving out a Display

Hey all,

a mate of mine just purchased a second hand P4 Mobo skt478 with a 2.4Ghz Pentium 4 CPU and he says the mobo fires up but nothing comes out the board.
no image on the monitor.

hes tried the following...

tried different Ram , CPu's , PSUs , GFX Cards (tried both AGP and pci GFX card with nothing still)

Whats wrong with it ?

hes even tried enabling on board GFX i think and still nothing

Is the board dead?...because the person he purchased it off had it lying unused in the box for some time.

That is prolly one of those made specifically for a certain computer like Dell

Possibly motherboard was fried?

+1 on fried. If he didnt handle it correctly, dropped it, or didnt discharge himself then its gone. CPU might be bad too. Or both

did you plug in the +12v power?
