mobo? or what....

Is there a way to check mobo? (except visual check).
With multimeter or something?
What happened is: my computer was running nicely and suddenly just restarted, after bootup it switched off and didn't bootup since then.
The power led just keep blinking (and doesn't work), fan is not spinning...
It had happened before once. I disconnected and reconnected the power button from mobo and that fixed it. But not this time.
Any ideas?

Try switchiing the breaker on the supply off, remove the ac cord, turn the breaker back on, and pressing the power button then. That's called recycling the supply. What that does is discharge the caps in the supply itself. See if that works before assuming a bad cap or board problem.

Board? cpu? You may want to recheck all of the connections in case you reversed the wires for the power switch or one lifted off. Also look at the main and 12v cpu feed. How were your temps been lately?

Connections are fine.Temps as well.
I've check the voltage on the psu and it's fine (but only when the mobo is disconnected). When connected, it's dropping way below 12v-5%.

Something is pulling the current down then. It sounds like either something is going to ground like a crossed wire or something is directly seeing a short to ground from failure.

Fan is ok. I checked it in my other system.
If everything is plugged to psu (but no mobo) the volts are fine.

well once u plug u plug in to the mobo, it will draw its power also, are u check the 4 pin volts, or the 3 pin fans that plug into mobo, check them while the mobo is plugged in and see, maybe its a bad mother board, if none of the ideas we are throwin out it might be worth buyin a mobo and testing it ur stuff with that

I've just checked power switch (i thought maybe is stuck in on/off position).
But unfortunately it is not.
Now I'm going to pull everything I can and try just mobo...

Yep, looks like my mobo is fried :(
And I just spend an hour trying to move my secondary hd and insert it to me secondary comp. Who design the Compaqs?! To remove hd you need to take off fan and heatsink!! Or, if you dont want to do that you can take off front panel unscrew around 100 screws and you there (almost)...
So mine hd is resting on the bottom of the case

Anyway, thanks for your help guys.
