Mobo question

When I see a mobo it usally has lga in it's title what is it? Also any one recomend any good lsi mobo for a gtx9800+?

Has to be for i 7 intel and not much above 220


But pls let me know what lga stands for and what it is
 
LGA stands for the type of processor slot it has. The new I7 processors are LGA 1366 and the LGA 775 is for the CORE 2 Quad, Extreme, Duo and lower processors.
 
Yea I'm sorry about the post above you it didn't maken sense, how can you tell if a motherboard from newegg
 
Well, you have to watch. Some are only crossfire which is strictly for ATI video cards and others are SLI for invidia and they aren't interchangeable. Just look in the specifications for the motherboard. The motherboard will also have 2 or more video card slots.
