Mobo Specs: CPU Limitation to RAM

I was checking out this board on newegg:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131383

It states "*Due to AMD CPU limitation, DDR2 1066 is supported by AM3/AM2+ CPU for one DIMM per channel only". What exactly does this mean? I'm looking at the AMD PII X4 940, which is AM2+, so does this mean I won't be able to run my RAM at 1066? Some of the reviews on newegg state they have it, one guy said it won't work.

Also, is this a good combo MOBO/CPU? I'm looking at this just b/c I prefer Nvidia over ATI and want the option of SLI in the future.

Sorry if this is a newbie question, I'm just new to this! Thanks!

That CPU will run DDR2 1066 RAM

What it mean is, if you got old AM2 CPU, it will not run RAM at DDR2 1066.
To make sure your RAM is OK, check the offical website. They usually have RAM compliable list.

It just means if you buy 1066mhz ram, you might be wasting your money, because it will end up running in 800mhz anyway.
