Mobo stanoffs

I received my CPU, VGA, Cables yesterday and I finished installing them.

When installing the MOBO I missed one of those brass standoffs. Is that a problem at all. I could only screw 5 places in the mobo and it would of been 6 but like I said I missed the standoffs. :D

Is this going to be a problem at all.??? I already installed the RAM and the video card and it didnt bend THAT much just a little.

Does static electricity affect RAM?

Hey, im using the brass screws only around the mobo and 1 in center, so 4-5 all up, No Problems, ive been doing it for over a year now, ram runs perfect as does everything else. No Problems

it shouldn't cause any problems as long as the board doesn't come into contact with the case, just be a little careful when you're putting cards in and out so that you don't bend the board too much, depends which stand off you missed as to how careful you have to be, say you missed a corner one then you'll have to be carefull not to bend the board but if you missed one in the middle somewhere those don't tend to matter as much.

As AdmnPower said, just don't bolt it directly to the case. I managed to short a motherboard out by forgetting a standoff before!

Also, just be sure the board will not flex too bad when installing card and all. Just missing a single standoff shouldn't be too bad...

believe it or not the first computer i ever built survived being directly bolted to the case, i had no idea at the time you needed stand offs, i was such an amatuer, but you have to learn somehow.... btw that computer still works to this day.
