Mobo swap, have to re-install windows?

I want to keep my current install of Windows Vista, but I want a different mobo.. one I can OC the cpu/ram with.. this one it's locked out =(

How can I swap the mobo without having to re-install Windows? Can I swap the mobo, boot from the Vista disc and use RC to repair the install rather than re-install it? .. would that work?

I just want a similar board that isn't locked.. Maybe something with more SATA ports, if anyone has a recommendation I'm all ears (well, eyes..)

Requirements;

Needs to properly run PC2-4200 DDR2 x4 sticks
Needs to be Socket AM2
Needs to have at least 1x full speed PCIe x16 slot

I'm also going to look, but if someone has a board in mind.. feel free to rec. :)

Take a look at the asus deluxe boards. Also, to use a new motherboard without having reinstall the OS you'll need to make sure that pretty much all the hardware is the same. Same chipset, same LAN, same audio etc. Otherwise you could run into serious trouble and conflicts between devices and drivers.
