Mobo switch and now monitor won't turn on

I have an Asus A8V Deluxe and it began to not work correctly. So I changed my mobo to a another board that wasn't as good and the monitor wouldn't turn on. So then I returned that and replaced the original Asus board in and now the same thing is happening. Is it my video card? I have an MSI ATI Radeon 9550 256mb and it worked just fine before all this. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance for any replies!

And now I hav another question...where are the jumpers to clear the cmos?

Look in your motherbored manaul, it'll tell you there. It'll be 3 pins with a cap over 2 of them, and to clear you just move it to to open one for a minite then move back.

Out of curoisity did you remmeber that from you having the bored? Or did you go look?
