Why does my pics show up like a link you have to click on instead on the picture just showing up? http://www.computerforum.com/9556-post-your-pets-8.html last page last post! And is there a way to fix it?

Yea, in quick reply (at the bottom of the page) Click the little yellow icon that says "Insert Image" then put the url there and it should show up

Make sure you have your tags right. try doing

These pics was not posted using image tags I uploaded them from my computer. I first uploaded just one pic and it worked fine but when I uploaded another it shows up like that?

Did you use a file format that this forum supports? What was the ending tag on the file?

Yes they was jpg. files, thats ok if someone wants to see my pet I guess they will just have to click on the attachment, lol! Next time I post a pic I will just image tag them from photobucket or something.

Can't get much simpler than that. Just make sure it's the image's direct URL, not the site it's hosted at or the page it's found on or anything.

I dont do it this way, but I know some members (including praetor) have photos that are attached, but show up as images, rather then links.

As far as the question goes, it's because he attached them.

As far as the image showing up, they inserted it into the text field after attaching the images; like seen below.
