Modem (Fax) issue.

Some people, here, were very instrumental in helping me to find a driver download for my PCI 56K Flex Data/Fax Modem. All is fine, save for the faxing capability that I no longer have with it. I wonder, now, if there might be more than one driver which would work with my unit - but only ONE that would afford ALL of my modem's features. I am often with a need for faxing something, and am hoping that I (with the help of my friends, here) can find a way through this.

Forgive the length of time that it has taken for me to reply, but I had been saddled with a number of issues - as of late. To answer your question, I had downloaded a driver for that internal modem, but there was no longer the faxing capability made available to me. I happened to find an external Data/Fax 56K V.92/V.44 modem, but Best Data, at Circuit City for $25, and I sprung for it. It doesn't seem to be any faster than the modem which it replaced (in fact, it seems to run slower), but at least I am able to fax now.
