Modem/Fax Problem.

I have a client who has an Arris modem, with two phone ports, and only one of them is activated, and she has a phone and a fax machine, when she tries to fax, the internet shuts off I believe. I'll come back with model numbers and more detailed information.


She would have to call Comcast to get the second port activated, right? Cause I tried a phone splitter, and it doesn't solve the problem.

I would say to try calling Comcast and seeing how that goes.

They were there a while ago, and I was talking to them, and I don't think they activate it..


I could be wrong, though.
