Modem Sound Card

My modem (2) has 4 ports:

Line in
Line out
Mic
Spkr

^ So does that mean my modem can be used as an sound card?

That's a communication device for online or over phone line application. Someone at the other end would hear any sound you feed into it. The output is for hearing the other end. You still have to use either the onboard or expansion type sound card for regular application there.

Yeah, true, but Desktop Section was an faster way to get an answer...

No way sir.evrything which have four ports is not the sound card.so thats why you dnt use modem as a sound card.
