first time using modem, i usually use wireless,

i want to know if any kind of modem is gonna work.

or should i know what kind of internet i have

i need a new modem with at least two slot because i have a modem with only 1 slot

i need to set up two computer at home.
 
You will need to buy a wireless router to setup more than one computer using a cable/dsl modem
