Modular PSU is great

First time I used one and talk about leaving out the clutter. That's six cables I didn't need and put back in the pouch. I just needed one cable for the drives, that's worth an extra $5-6 for this convenient.

It's a Seasonic (terrific brand) M12II 520 Bronze 520W Modular for $79.99 ($20 off) at Newegg. The same model as a wired one is $64.99 with $9.65 shipping. You do the math, I had to be crazy not to get this modular model.

Gotta love it. :)

Yeah modular is great, however non-modular PSUs usually are more efficient. But not really an issue to worry about.

I went with a CoolerMaster SilentPro myself. It's not completely modular, but the cables are nice and thin and make for excellent cable management!

Would like to get a modular PSU for my system, but my cable management is pretty decent and my PSU seems to be holding up OK. :) Next time I buy a power supply it'll probably be modular though.

I can't afford such luxuries...

Still decent cable management though.

Still decent cable management though.

You better watch out or you'll be spending more money on a new setup when that coolmax power supply takes all the other components with it when it goes...
