Hey all, I'm back. Sorry. I've returned to place my ignorance on display. The good news is, I'm getting braver in what I will try when working on my computer. I couldn't believe I actually found myself with a soldering iron in my hand. That was a first, but that was another issue, now resolved.
Anyway, I have to replace a Molex pin, so I ordered a bunch of them, thinking I'll need more than one as time goes by. But they all come in a long row, all connected together with these wings that stick out above the points where they are supposed to be crimped.
Do I cut these off? "Cause if I do, my wire cutters aren't even coming close to cutting them. I don't have a plasma cutter, so that's out of the question. Right now, they just seem to be in the way.
I'm attaching a pic to show you what I mean.
Thanks again.
