Money Wasted!!!

I was running a Q6600 @ 3.4 GHZ and it ran great.So I decided to get a Q9550 hoping to get atleast 3.5 GHZ and maybe around 4.0 GHZ out of it.Boy was I wrong.It will do about 3.6 GHZ and that is it.I have every setting that I know to try and it will not post at anything over 3.6 GHZ.I wish now I had kept my Q6600 and spent my money on something else.If anyone has any advice on overclocking a Q9550 I am all ears.

Well your not at a total loss, you got more cache out of the deal.

dont realy see why you would upgrade from a Q6600 to a Q9550,Yeah obviusly a Q9550 is better but not that much to need to upgrade from a Q6600.

you should have saved your money and put it towards a I7

In a server environment I upgraded from a Q6600 to a Q9550 and noticed quite the difference!
