I never said I didn't want widescreen.[I can go either way, widescreen or not, although i would prefer a traditional moniter more] Why dont you type out the 4 extra letters to make yourself seem over the age of 10?

Anyways, I'm looking for something under 340, not 355$ +8% tax which would equal 384$ which is over 40$ over 340$, not a little :)

widescreen resolution in that size is 1680x1050
but only bad thing...so far there really isnt a cheap widescreen monitor whit a res time of under 8ms.
anyways here is a highly rated widescreen monitor

its $290 after $50 rebate so $340 original price.

You gotta pay taxes on orders off the net? Where do you live?
If you live in the USA, you have to pay tax on any online orders in the same STATE you live in, in almost all states anyways. I live in CA, and newegg also happens to be in CA(One of their main warehouses anyways) so they add in tax if i order from there. If you order from out of state you dont currently have to pay tax, for example of the shipment was coming from texas i would not have to pay tax.

I will take a widesreen or a normal screen with normal prefered like i said, and I would like under 6ms like i said, which rules out the one you linked.

i seriously doubt you would find any difference in anything under 8ms especially since the human eye cant even detect 8ms much less anything faster than that.

First off, you can easily see the difference in a 8ms moniter, I have two flatscreen LCD moniters right now, 8MB and 5MS, you can tell the difference easily. I would very much like to see your sources for your information....

And second, its irrelevent to the question.

I would agree with you, with my 8ms monitor I can see a slight ghosting effect, however it's almost not even noticable unless I try to see it.

You wont find many LCD's with a resolution of 1600x1024, since LCD's have lower resolutions for their size then CRT's do.
