monitor adjustments keep flashing on screen

I am trying to help a friend with his computer the monitor keeps flashing the adjustments for the contrast and and hue and other adjustments for the monitor on screen and i have tried too unplug and reset it and have tried the controls on the monitor and no luck.If you might know please help thanks to all who might be able to help me out.

A bad circuit card would explain that. If the monitor is new or still under warranty it should be returned for an exchange or send in for repair under warranty. This depends on how old the monitor is as well. If it's 3-4yrs. old toss it and buy a new one.
