After doing a bit of reading and researching on monitors for a gaming desktop PC, I chose this one:

The link is dead but as long as its a VE248H I need nothing more. For that price I would get a H236HL Bid which is IPS.

It isn't better then the ASUS. The BID is better, gtha one isn't. Seems like they don't sell the Bid at amazon.co.uk.

This one is nice. Better because it's IPS. If your a pro (MLG, etc) gamer, I wouldn't recommend this screen technology. B if your no, IPS has more vivid colors and better viewing angles.

Oh, I thought the Acer link I provided above was the BID monitor you mentioned...

So, just to clarify, the Asus VE248H and Acer H236HLBmjd are more a less the same?

That LG 23EA63V looks nice...

I read that TN is better for gaming than IPS, although both have their pros and cons, TN came out better (for gaming)....
