Monitor brands

Hello. I have to buy a monitor...probobly after christmas. Anyway, simple question..which monitor brands do you al like and prefer?.. I was thinking of going with a Acer or Viewsonic..im only looking to spend around 500 Canadian..so thats..434 USD or so.. And..if you have any suggestions...im glad to hear em.

I've always heard great things about viewsonics, I don't have one myself, I have a Hyundai L90D+, but I'm not so sure I would recommend mine, great picture but something gets screwy on occasion and I get gray or green lines. I slap it and it goes away, so as of yet I haven't RMA'd it. Back to your question though, the viewsonic you're looking at ought to be totally fine for anything you want to use it for.
