monitor cuts off???

PNY Nvidia Geforce 7600GS 512mb
Antec 550w
SOund blaster audigy platinum w/ remote
a couple of baer drives: 1 maxtor 80gb, 1 WD 80gb (No RAID)

I am still having a problem with my card (monitor???). it keeps shutting down after a game stalls. i reformatted and installed nf4 drivers and it worked for a couple of weeks but even with the new drivers and a fresh drive it is back to its bad habits. i posted here a while back about this assuming it was a power problem. now it is doing it agian and it is pissing me off.

i play games like CSS, Oblivion, doom, you know all those Mhz sponges.
 
Well I'd still guess it's power related... You never stated if you tried it with another power supply or if you changed it...
 
this psu is the result of trying three different ones. my first was an antec 420w, then to a 500w, now to this. it couldnt be a power problem could it?
